The western half of the Sunset Nature Walk will be closed during a Johnson County construction project slated to be completed in March of 2027. The blue-dashed trail on the map above is still open for your exploration and enjoyment.
With this closing, we have temporarily removed the tree and shrub markers, but will be looking for new specimens within the eastern half of the trail. We’ll publish a new, temporary map so you can continue to learn about native plants of these woods.
